What is shiftbuds?
Shiftbuds is an Australian small business creating practical and fun accessories for healthcare workers, emergency services personnel, and shift workers. The name Shiftbuds comes from the idea of being your "shift buddy"—the little things that help you through your shift. Whether it's keeping essentials close by or adding a touch of personality to your day, our products are designed to make every shift a little brighter.
Where are your products made?
All shiftbuds products are designed and either 3D printed, created or sewn in Melbourne, Australia.
While some components are sourced from trusted suppliers overseas, they are carefully combined with our original creations to bring you unique, high-quality products you'll love.
What are your products made from & are they safe to wear/hygienic?

Our stethocharms and Tape buddies are designed to be lightweight, easy to wipe clean, and suitable for everyday use in healthcare environments.
As workplace policies can vary between hospitals and departments, we always recommend checking with your employer or infection control guidelines regarding accessories worn on shift.
We recommend gently wiping products with a soft disinfectant wipe or wash in soapy water. Avoid using harsh chemicals and keep away from excessive heat.
How do I attach/remove them?
StethoCharms
Our StethoCharms feature a secure clip design that easily clips open and closed around your stethoscope tubing. Simply open the clip, position it where desired, and clip it closed. To remove, gently unclip and slide off.
Tape Holders
Our unique tape holders are easy to use. Simply unscrew the bottom off the holder, place on the tape and re-screw back on. The included cable keyring can be unscrewed to easily attach or remove from bags, belt loops, lanyards, or keychains.
Epaulettes
Simply slide your shiftbuds Epaulettes over your existing epaulettes for an instant touch of personality. Designed to sit neatly above your rank, they allow important identifiers such as MICA, Graduate Paramedic, and Correctional Services to remain clearly visible.
Do you offer personalised or custom designs?
Yes! Many of our products can be customised. If you're looking for a specific theme, colour combination, profession, or gift idea, please get in touch and we'll do our best to create something special for you.
What professions are shiftbuds products suitable for?
Our products are loved by paramedics, nurses, doctors, emergency service staff, midwives, veterinary professionals, students, and other shift workers. Many also make thoughtful gifts for teachers and healthcare graduates.
How long will my order take to be dispatched?
Most orders are handmade to order and are typically processed within 2–4 business days before shipping. During busy periods, holiday seasons, or for bulk/custom orders, processing times may be slightly longer. Processing times are not applicable to custom design orders, as these may require additional design and production time.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship Australia-wide and may offer international shipping on selected products.
All orders include tracking through Australia Post. You’ll receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Can I send a shiftbuds order as a gift?
Absolutely! Shiftbuds products make wonderful gifts for colleagues, graduates, birthdays, Christmas, and appreciation presents. If you're sending directly to the recipient, simply enter their address at checkout.
Can I return or exchange if I don't love it?
As products are made to order we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind or personalised items unless the product is deemed faulty.
